TERE means "to be fast, swift and quick" in the Maori language. TERE is a COMPACT-AERO frame designed to function and look like a traditional road frame. However, every single tube profile and transition has been aerodynamically optimised in collaboration with Auckland University's wind tunnel, the same facility where Team New Zealand tests its America's Cup technology. The TERE was designed with ride quality in mind, and that means balanced geometry, room for wider tyre sizes and a carefully crafted Toray® carbon lay-up programme to create a captivating ride that will push you beyond your limits and explore the road less travelled. As with any new frame design project, geometry is the foundation for a great riding experience. Using an extensive database of ergonomic data, we were able to identify the ideal geometry to suit both seasoned professionals and weekend riders. The geometry of the TERE has a linear stack and reach correlation from XS to XL, just like the human body. This balanced geometry is joined by a beautiful form factor that enhances the whole experience, using vibration-dampening chainstays and directional, high-strength carbon in the bottom bracket and head tube area for power transfer and steering "like on rails". While the TERE was designed to be an all-round performer, no sacrifices were made to ensure it was also aerodynamic without the drawbacks of a pure aero road frame, such as overweight and rough handling. The fork crown has been seamlessly matched to the comb-tail and finned head tube to increase overall stiffness and aerodynamics.
