The Turbo Vado S has redefined daily commuting on two wheels, turning an occasional trip to the market into a true shopping delight. As a response to the demands of dedicated commuters, the brand-new Turbo Vado S reaches speeds of up to 45 km/h while providing the same control, safety, and comfort as other Vado models. What sets the Turbo Vado S apart is the specially tuned Specialized 2.2 motor, enabling it to reach higher speeds. Additionally, the cockpit is upgraded with a 1,000-lumen front light, a horn, a mirror, a license plate mount, and class-specific tires.

COMFORTABLE AND RELIABLE: The riding position and handling have been optimized to provide unmatched riding comfort, a secure feel, and precise control. Powerful hydraulic disc brakes slow you down, while larger tires maximize traction when turning and stopping.
SMOOTH: We've developed a special control mechanism that analyzes bumps even at the smallest pedaling cadence to proactively improve riding comfort. This precision, combined with a suspension seat post, high-volume tires, and an 80 mm suspension fork, ensures a smooth riding experience as if on flat terrain.
SECURE: The Turbo Vado S features an integrated anti-theft lock. Only you can start the motor—via the Specialized app on your smartphone or your personal PIN. The Turbo Vado S battery can be securely locked into the bike or easily removed. And if someone tampers with your bike, an alarm sounds, scaring off any potential thief.
The Vado S is equipped with our Turbo Full Power 2.2 45 km/h (L1E) motor and a 710 Wh battery. The MasterMind display shows all key ride information, allows real-time adjustment of assistance levels, offers range optimization tools, advanced settings, on-the-go diagnostics, and more. Turbo System Lock: Use the Specialized app to disable your bike’s motor and activate the motion sensor alarm. Once locked, only you can reactivate the motor. The fully integrated, removable, and lockable downtube battery is easy to charge and secure. Equipped with DRYTECH fenders, LED front and rear lights, and an HD rear rack supporting up to 27 kg. The rack is compatible with child bike seats and can tow a trailer with a thru-axle. An integrated Garmin radar sensor alerts you when a vehicle approaches from behind. Garmin's radar technology detects cars up to 140 meters away and provides visual, audible, and haptic notifications about the relative distance and speed of an approaching vehicle. The Enviolo AUTOMATiQ Internal Gear Hub (IGH) technology ensures seamless automatic gear shifting based on your cadence and surrounding conditions. A single charge provides a range of up to 100 km or 4.5 hours (Eco mode). Compatible with the Turbo Basket (MIK adapter plate required) for increased transport capacity.
