The year was 1975 when, over a few beers, the name TREK was decided upon. But TREK was and is much more than just a name. From the beginning, it was a collection of values. A few months later, spring of 1976 in southern Wisconsin, with 5 employees they start production of their first bikes in a barn. Today, the headquarters is just under a mile on that barn.
