The Ruut model range was born out of the need to have a truly versatile bike. One that is comfortable enough for backpacking and long-distance rides, but at the same time has a definite sporty character. At Rondo we are all competitive riders - we ride fast, we race - but we don't need a bike for the CX World's. What we want from a dropbar bike is that it can go long and fast, especially on rough roads. After over two years of development, we have created a tool that we believe is the ultimate solution for riders in the real world.
The RUUT ST2 is a classic bike that is comfortable, versatile and tough. This model features a light Tange steel frame at a more accessible price point. Now upgraded with our TwinTip 2.0 fork made with FLY technology. It’s a lighter, more compliant edition of our trademark fork and comes with triple cargo cage mounts. Equipped with tough components built to last, including reliable and easy to maintain mechanical TRP brakes, a SRAM Apex drivetrain, Rondo alloy gravel wheels on WTB Nano tyres. An ideal option for the entry level commuter who needs a bike to go the extra mile.
