The Ruut model range was born out of the need to have a truly versatile bike. One that is comfortable enough for backpacking and long-distance rides, but at the same time has a definite sporty character. At Rondo we are all competitive riders - we ride fast, we race - but we don't need a bike for the CX World's. What we want from a dropbar bike is that it can go long and fast, especially on rough roads. After over two years of development, we have created a tool that we believe is the ultimate solution for riders in the real world.
The RUUT AL1 2x is a more road-ready version of the RUUT and built for gravel beginners. This model is an all-rounder with an aluminium frame, perfect for discovering new places on your doorstep. Thanks to its wide-mounted 2x10 Shimano GRX drivetrain, it is capable of tackling the trail. The RUUT AL1 2x has fast rolling tyres for ultimate use on mixed terrain. Ideal for long distances, bikepacking and winter training.
