The Eclipse Spherical is both the fastest road helmet and the coolest aero road helmet Giro has ever created, bringing our best technologies together in a light, compact form that's ideal for road and gravel racing. The sleek outer shell actively streamlines airflow to reduce drag across multiple wind angles, while 14 Wind Tunnel vents pull air through the helmet to provide incredible cooling power that rivals our most aggressively vented road helmets. Inside, the ball-and-socket design of Spherical Technology is powered by the Mips® brain protection system, which allows the helmet's outer EPS foam liner to rotate around the inner foam liner during a crash to help redirect impact forces away from the brain. Progressive Layering of both the inner and outer liners help to offer more comprehensive protection, too. The patented Roc Loc® 5 Air system enhances stability and fit, and plush antimicrobial Ionic+ padding helps absorb sweat and moisture while providing durable antimicrobial performance.

Giro ist eine 1985 gegrüdete Firma für Helme im Radsport und Schneesport. Zuerst war Giro nur für Fahrradhelme da, doch keine 15 Jahre nach der Gründung verkauften Sie ihren ersten Skihelm. Der Amerikanische Hersteller Vista Outdoor ist der Dachverband. Sicherheit ist wichtig auf der Strasse. Jeder sollte einen Helm Tragen und seinen Kopf schützen. Ein Velohelm schützt dich nicht nur vor Schürfungen, sondern auch vor Hirnerschütterungen und je nach dem rettet er dir sogar das Leben. Jeder weiss, dass Helme nicht wahnsinnig gut aussehen. Desshalb machte es sich Giro zur Mission, attraktive Helme zu entwerfen, um die Sicherheit nicht auf Grund der Ästetik zu vernachlässigen.
