SILCA Secret Chain Blend is a hot wax lubricant based on wax with nano-scale tungsten di-sulfide also known as NanoPlatelet WS2 and significantly reduces friction.
The Ultimate Chain Waxing System is a compact kit for home use that allows chains to be waxed thoroughly. The wax melter, drip stand and cable clutch are included for a clean, quiet and efficient drivetrain. The wax melter has a vented, see-through lid to keep the heat in while checking that the wax is fully melted. The perfect complement to the StripChip to wax the chain in one operation without degreaser. The holder for hanging the chain allows for a discreet drying phase where excess wax drips straight back into the pot and can be used for the next application. The ribbed base holds the melter in place and secures the chain coupling. The chain coupling has a steel cable that is threaded on one side so that it can be passed through the chain and secured on the other side. The chain is dipped into the wax, moved and suspended without wax getting into unwanted places and without touching the pot of hot wax.
